Solving Africa's AI Literacy Gap

My name is Edwin Rogoi. My professional background is journalism and Mass Communications with a Public Relations option. However, I never got to fully practice this profession as right after campus, I fell in love with graphic design back in 2018.

I was posting my work daily for almost a year. I landed my first international client in November and that birthed my journey to graphic design freelancing.

Fast forward to January 2023, I had a healthy catalogue of work and clients, but it was time to level up. A client of mine from Chicago wanted content created for her business. I agreed to do it without full knowledge of the how.

That's when I bumped into ChatGPT and everything changed from there.

ChatGPT definitely flipped the switch for me and I went into a rabbit hole trying to figure out the Who, What, When, Where & Why of Artificial Intelligence.

Fast forward again to June 2025, I decided to start content creation around AI to share with the world what I had learnt over the years. In the process, to date, I have built a robust community of over 30,000 people across the world, with over 2 Million Views across all my social platforms.

This has proven to me that there is a demand for reliable and easy to understand knowledge around AI and how it works, hence the creation of these practical, easy to understand courses that deliver value and clarity around AI as technology, AI Tools and Real World Practical Use Cases of how AI streamlines operations.
